Application To use previously learned information in a new situation. What other sense could Sebastian have used?
Could Sebastian have found the snowdrops if he hadn't smelt them?
Analysis To develop skills or inference and deduction. Why do Snowdrops smell sweet?
What could Sebastian have tasted?
Why do you think Sebastian thought it was Spring?
Synthesis/ speculation To formulate new theory, argument or summary based on informed understanding. If you went on a spring walk which sense would you use most?
Would it be good to use our sense of taste on a spring walk?
Evaluation To judge the value of ideas or materials and articulate reasons. If Sebastian was blind, would he still think it was Spring?
If you could only use one of your senses, which one would you use?
Why do you think animals have 5 senses?
