AUTUMN TIME by Moonbeam Class

A ll the leaves are changing colour,
U sually they turn gold, orange and red.
T ime for jumping in the leaves
U p into the air they go!
M ushrooms start to grow
N ights get longer, days grow shorter.


T iny woodmice eat pumpkins.
I see the glittering spiders web
M inibeasts crawl under fallen leaves,
E veryone loves Autumn!!

AUTUMN by Halla

In the Autumn, leaves go golden brown, yellow, red and orange. After that they start to fall. Soon mushrooms and toadstools grow on the dead leaves. As the days get colder, hedgehogs start to hibernate. You can still see dragonflies on a hot day, but as the days get colder, dragonflies start to die. On the 5th of November every year we have Bonfire night. And we also have Harvest and Halloween. In the Autumn friut and vegetables get ripe. Birds start to collect berries for the Winter. Dew falls onto the spiders webs and we can see them better. I like Autumn because I like the colours, and because of halloween.

The leaves start to change colour and start to fall. In the Autumn hedgehogs hibernate. The birds eat lots of berries.The weather gets cold. Minibeasts eat dead leaves to make soil. Lots of geese and ducks gather on the pond and make it a noisy place. You notice more cobwebs because ther is lots of dew. In the Autumn we get Bonfire Night, Harvest and Halloween. The Autumn is very colourful.In the Autumn it is fun playing in the leaves.I like Autumn!
