Sebastian and Sarah woke one morning and stretched their wings. They counted their cygnets. "One, two...Oh no," they gasped, "someone is missing!"
Sebastian went to find Deer who lived by a tree in the woods. "Hello, Deer!" said Sebastian. "Have you seen my cygnet?"
"No," said Deer, "I haven't seen your cygnet. I have been too busy looking after my one fawn!"
Sebastian went to find Badger who lived in a sett on the hill. "Hello, Badger!" said Sebastian. "Have you seen my cygnet?"
"No," said Badger, "I haven't seen your cygnet. I have been too busy looking after my two cubs!"
Sebastian went to find Wild Boar who lived in the mud by the river. "Hello, Boar!" said Sebastian. "Have you seen my cygnet?"
"No," said Boar, "I haven't seen your cygnet. I have been too busy looking after my three piglets!"

Sebastian went to find Duck who lived in a nest by the lake. "Hello, Duck!" said Sebastian. "Have you seen my cygnet?"
"No," said Duck, "I haven't seen your cygnet. I have been too busy looking after my four ducklings!"
Duck counted the ducklings. "One, two, three, four, five! Well, I did have four...
...but now there are five!" Sebastian looked closely. "You're not a duckling. You're my cygnet!"
