	Herons Herons are a type of bird which like living near water. They have long necks, legs and bills or beaks. They use their bills to spear their prey in shallow water. Herons make their nests high up in trees to lay their eggs.

	Hibernate Some animals go to sleep when it begins to get colder in the autumn. This is called hibernation. They wake up when the weather starts to get warmer again in the spring. Dormice like to hibernate!
