Russell Terrace, named after a local farmer, features typical Victorian terraced houses. Most have changed in appearance in recent years, but some still remain showing the original features. Number 3, for example, with its door knocker, letter-box ans sash windows looks almost as it did one hundred years ago. Chimney pots, grey slate roofs, yellow London brick walls and lintels with floral designs adorn many of the houses.
