Hi there. Why don't you go for a walk around your school like I did around the lake? You can make up your own story about where you went and what signs of spring you discovered. I would love to read them. Love Sebastian Swan.

Dear Sebastian Swan
We read your book about the spring waddle.  We went for a walk around
our School to look for signs of spring.
We saw leaf buds on some of the trees but some of the trees and bushes
had kept their leaves on all through the winter.
We saw lots of flowers.  There was blossom on some trees, daisies,
dandelions, tulips and a bluebell with a snail hiding inside a flower!
We also saw a ladybird , a bug and some ants.
We have put some photos on the attachment and hope that you can see
them.

Love from Group 3H

Dear Sebastian,
We have been on a Spring Walk.
We went out of our school and walked around the estate.
Then we went in the woods and the fields.
We saw catkins and lots of spring flowers. We looked at buds and blossom on the trees.
Next week we are going to make our own book about spring.

Dear Sebastian Swan,
We went on a Spring Walk around our school. We saw some snowdrops on the bank. Our group saw some yellow daffodils. We found some frog spawn. It was frozen. Will the frogspawn still be ok? Will the daffodils die because it is so cold?
We found some pink blossom in the trees. We saw Catkins on the trees.
We saw some buds. On our walk we found some bluebells  near the pond.
We found some crocuses on the side of the bank. We found sowe sticky buds on the trees. We saw some new leaves on the branches. We some new leaves on the bushes. They were small and green. We have some questions for you:

When will you go on another walk?
Have you ever seen snowdrops?
Who did you see on your walk?
What was your favourite thing on your walk?
Have you ever seen daffodils?
Lots of love from Yellow Class

We went outside around our school and we saw lots of miniature daffodils
called tete a tete. We also saw tulips, primroses, snowdrops and crocuses.
In our classroom we have grown some rocket seeds, cress seeds, hyacinth
bulbs, carrot tops, tulip bulbs, broad beans, bellis flowers, scilla bulbs
and tete a tete daffodils.

Dear Sebastian,
We went on a walk to our conservation area. We saw daffodils, Buddleia, evergreen trees also called Conifers, celandine plants and two ponds. We did not find any animals. We think it was too cold! We had a nice time and have made a conservation area booklet.

Dear Sebastian, We go to Inveraray Primary School. We went outside to look for signs of Spring. We saw some snowdrops, catkins and some daffodils in our school grounds. We are learning Scottish Gaelic and so we have another way to say hello. It is spelt like this mhath madainn. It means hello or good morning.
