Hi there. Did you enjoy thinking of different
rhyming words in my book. Can you use them to make your own poem? Love Sebastian
Swan.

To Sebastian,
We looked inside one of your rhyming books. We enjoyed it and we wanted to write
some of our own poems. Here is one that we all wrote together:
A colourful cat had a rainbow hat,
A mighty mole lived in a deep, dark hole,
A slimy slug gave me a horrible hug,
A flexible frog flipped off a log.
We hope you like our poem too!

Here is a Limerick from Longstone Primary
Sebastian's friend was a frog
He lay on a log
On the log was a beast
The frog had a feast
Then he went for a jog.

Dear Sebastian
We liked reading your book, Sebastian's Rhyme. We enjoyed looking at
the pictures. We wrote our own rhyming poems. We would like to ask you
some questions.
1. Where did you find the animals in your rhyme?
2. How can you move on land?
3. How can a swan write a book?
4. How did you make up the rhyme?
Thank you.
Love from Red Class

Miss Richardsons Class, Marlow C of E Infant School,
Dear Sebastian,
Here is a poem created by Miss Richardson's Class at Marlow C of E Infant School,
we hope you like it,
The Tummy Ache Poem!
On the 1st day we went on a ship,
Then we slipped on an apple pip.
In the water we found a frog.
The very next day we spied a dog.
On day 3 in a wishing well,
We had a go at ringing a bell.
The 4th day was full of cats.
All fighting with lots of rats.
The final day when all was well,
We thought wed crunch some caramel.
But oh dear me...we got tummy ache,
So then we had another cake!
